What is the Midwest Sled Dog Symposium?

The Midwest Sled Dog Symposium and Iditarod Teacher's Conference is a gathering of passionate sled dog lovers who share stories, educational ideas, collective knowledge, new techniques, and equipment ideas. Our goal is to provide a forum facilitating a fun and exciting exchange of information, focused on the past, present and future of dog sledding and dog care. Everyone is welcome from sled dog enthusiasts to veteran mushers of all ages. Throughout the event multiple sessions are run providing something for everyone to enjoy. The symposium offers guest speakers, gear workshops, vendors, and a unique opportunity to meet with fellow sled dog enthusiasts who share your passion for the sport. The day ends with a featured keynote speaker who will share their personal experiences and stories in a 1-2 hour presentation.
